Outlining Body Paragraphs

Today I discussed how to outline your three body paragraphs for your essay.  The due date outline for these three body paragraphs TYPED is MONDAY, 2/16.  It must be here at the beginning of class or you will receive no credit.  NO EXCEPTIONS. NO HOMEWORK COUPON allowed.

I.                    Body Paragraph #1 or TOPIC #1
a.       (the topic sentence for the paragraph, must relate it to your thesis)
b.      (context for the quote or paraphrase from the novel.  Set the scene so readers understand the evidence you will talk about next.  This may be notation form.)
c.       (insert the quote or paraphrase herecite it properly with page number)   
d.      (analysis of the quote: prove how it supports your thesis.  This may be notation form.)
e.      (closing sentence to the paragraph; transition to the next paragraph)

II.                  Body Paragraph #2 or TOPIC #2
