F451 Final Project, Computer Lab time, and continued reading

Today I began by discussing your final project for F451 and gave you a handout of choices.  YOU HAVE OPTIONS :)  Please read the information posted on Edline about the various project ideas.

I then collected your outlines for your Of Mice and Men Paper.  Many of you did not follow directions and will not receive all 5 points.

Tomorrow and Thursday we will be in the high school computer lab to work on typing your intro and body paragraphs up.  Make sure you come prepared to class with your intro/thesis, outline (yes, make sure you bring an additional copy or email the one you have to yourself so you can access it tomorrow), and your book/annotated notes.

Wednesday we will have a quiz covering pages 40-end of part 2.  I will give you a slight insight into the quiz in tomorrow's blog entry.

Then we continued reading of the rest of the hour.  We read the beginning of part 3 up through "And he stumbled along the alley in the dark" (and it has a break in the page after it).

HOMEWORK:

Fahrenheit 451 Final Project Options

Choose one of the following projects to work on individually or in a group (with no more than three members).  Remember to be creative but appropriate!

Each project must be neat and organized. Effort must be visible. The grade is based on creativity, neatness, accuracy, and effort. Writing
must be typed. Choose a project that appeals to your own personal talents and interests.

*There is a big difference between something you jot down in a few minutes and something you put time into.

PROJECT IDEAS ARE DUE TO MRS. EHLE NO LATER THAN TUESDAY, February 24.
FINAL DUE DATE: They will be due the day after we return from Spring Break, April 14th
