Continuing from Yesterday's assignment

I began the hour by telling you that we will be discussing outlining your body paragraphs tomorrow.  In order to be fully prepared, please make sure you have annotated notes for the topics of your body paragraphs.  Make sure you have annotated your topic ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE BOOK! I will mark you down on your paper if you only have quotes/paraphrases from the beginning of the book or from one single part of the book.

Then I let you continue to work on the questions from yesterday's assignment.  Please see yesterday's blog entry for the questions if you did not finish within the hour.  As you worked, I continued to work with individuals who needed help on their introductions.

HOMEWORK:

• Complete the questions and reading (found on yesterday's blog entry)
• Make sure you have your evidence ready to help prove the thesis of your Old Man and The Sea essay.  Evidence should be varied throughout the book, not from one spot.
